Bank remittances
Collect direct-debit memberships through your bank (SEPA).
A remittance is a file with all the direct debits you want to collect. You generate it in Momento and upload it to your bank's online banking.
Before you start
- Your center's bank details must be complete: IBAN, creditor identifier and BIC. See Set up remittances.
- Each client needs their IBAN in their file, Payment methods tab.
Create a remittance
- Go to Accounting › Remittances.
- Sales without a remittance lists the direct-debit sales not yet sent.
- Tick the sales and click Add to remittance.
- Download the remittance's SEPA file.
- Upload it to your bank's online banking.
- Come back to Momento and mark it as Sent.
The Not sent and Sent tabs show each remittance with its name, date, progress and sent date.
When the bank returns a direct debit
Open the remittance and mark that sale as Not paid or Failed. It will then show as pending payment in the client file. You can also remove a sale from a remittance before sending it.
Important: if a client has no IBAN, their sales can't be added to the remittance.
