Change a schedule that's already published
When to unpublish, split or clone a schedule so you can make changes without messing up the calendar.
If your schedule is already published and you want to change it, you have three options. Pick one based on the kind of change.
The timetable changes from a certain date: Split
This is the one you'll use most. For example, when your summer timetable starts on 1 July.
- Go to Calendar › Set schedules › Published.
- Open the schedule's ⋮ menu and click Split.
- Choose the Split date.
Classes before that date stay as they are. From that date on, you have a new schedule (with the same name and the split date) that you can edit without touching the past.
You want to redo it completely: Unpublish
Unpublish removes all of that schedule's classes from the calendar. The schedule goes back to Unpublished, where you can edit it and publish it again.
Important: before unpublishing, check whether the classes being removed have bookings.
You want a similar one for another season: Clone
Clone creates a copy with a new name and new dates. It's the quickest way to prepare next season from the same typical week.
Only one class changes on one day
Don't touch the schedule. Change that session directly on the calendar: see Move or edit a session.
